Which hybrid car gets the best mileage and is the best buy for my money?

I want to get a new hybrid car but am undecided. I think I am boiling it down to the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic hybrid. Does anybody have input on these or other hybrids?

    get the TOYOTA PRIUS it gets 48 city and like 45 highway and you can go 25 miles for around $1.00 of gas
