(My humble prediction) Added: Updates: The Chevy Volt estimated price has climbed up to over $40,000, leaving it priced out of reach of many consumers and essentually negating any fuel cost savings. Tony Posawatz, Vehicle Line Director for GM’s Chevy Volt, "The two major factors holding back the Volt’s release are extensive testing requirements and lithium ion battery technology." Remember the EV1? I highly recommend buying or going to your library and renting "Who Killed the Electric Car?"
