If you live in a two story apartment complex, how would you plug your car to recharge it? Or what if you have to park your car under the apartment complex? Hotels?
I know you can run a wire from your house to your car that’s parked in the garage, but how about every other person not living in a house?

Chances are people without a home will not buy the Chevy Volt. It will be an expensive car. I suspect the future buyers of the Volt will be upper middle class or higher. And vast majority of future buyers will own their own home.
