Would you just run a wire from your apartment (which could be on the second or third floor) ALL the way down to you car? Just sleep at night and hope no one would unplug it? Or what if you have to park your car in an underground parking lot (in some apartment complexes, you have to park your car UNDER the complex itself). How would you run the wire?

If you can afford the rip of price of the Volt you would not be living in an apartment and if you did live in one I’m sure it would be one that was nice enough that you had your own garage with an outlet available.
